Liguria is a region in north-western Italy. It is a narrow coastal strip that lies between the Ligura Sea and the Alps. You will enjoy the beautiful Italian Riviera and picture-perfect
seaside fishing villages, such as Portofino, Santa Margherita de Ligure, and the historic seaport of Genoa. Piemonte is a wine region, which borders France and Switzerland. The areas of Langhe and Monferrato are a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see fascinating medieval hilltop towns, and hundreds of wine cellars, which produce famous wines like Barolo and Barbesco.

In 2018, I escorted a group to these beautiful regions. From a cooking class, to a wine tour, to trekking on Mount Etna, this was an unforgettable trip. If you want to experience the culture, architecture, incredible scenery, great food and fine wine, this is a trip for you. Here are a few highlights of our Italian adventure.
Amalfi Coast
Our Amalfi Coast trip began in early June 2023. We toured historical Naples, excursions to the Islands of Procida, Ischia, Capri and Pompeii. The trip included stunning views in the country, shorelines with small beaches and pastel-coloured fishing villages, cooking classes, pizza and ice cream making class and wine tasting. ​A beautiful trip with everlasting memories.
Puglia
Our Puglia trip took place in early June 2022. This beautiful southern region, located in the 'hell of the boot' is an off the beaten path destination in Italy. It had stunning coastlines, beautiful towns and villages. This destination is a hidden gem. We toured Bari, Lecce, Galatina and Gallipoli, Otranto and the coast and Monopoli.
Portugal
We explored Portugal in September 2024. It is renowned for its Fado music, Port Wine, and famous for its abundance of seafood. Ancient cathedrals, medieval castles, idyllic scenery, cobblestone villages, vibrant cities each with their own unique character, olive orchards and golden beaches, are just some of the places we enjoyed while exploring Portugal.
